DUBAI: Iran is planning to \u2018give a harsh response\u2019 to an Israeli attack launched early on Friday against its nuclear programme, an Iranian security source told <\/strong>Reuters<\/strong><\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cThe response to the Israeli attack will be harsh and decisive,\u201d the official said, adding that details of Iran\u2019s retaliation \u201care being discussed at the highest levels\u201d when asked whether the attack would be imminent.<\/p>\n

Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Israel will receive \u201charsh punishment\u201d.<\/p>\n
