ISLAMABAD \u2013 July 21, 2025:The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has constituted a Business Domain Team tasked with developing the Terms of Reference (TORs) for an indigenous Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) software. The team will work in collaboration with PwC and engage all relevant stakeholders to frame a detailed scope of work for hiring a consultant IT firm for the development and implementation of the local AEOI solution.<\/p>\n

According to Office Order, the competent authority has approved the following officers as members of the Business Domain Team:<\/p>\n

  1. Fida Muhammad \u2013 Chief (International Taxes), FBR (HQ)<\/li>\n
  2. Mehdi Hassan \u2013 Secretary (Automatic Exchange of Information), FBR (HQ)<\/li>\n
  3. Akbar Mayo \u2013 Revenue Advisor, REMIT, FCDO<\/li>\n
  4. Dr. Fareed Zafar \u2013 Director, PRAL<\/li>\n
  5. Azeem Shoukat \u2013 Principal Data Engineer, PRAL<\/li>\n
  6. Riaz Alam \u2013 Network Manager, PRAL<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The team is responsible for preparing a comprehensive TOR that will define the scope, objectives, and deliverables for selecting a competent IT consultant to design, develop, and install a customized IT solution for FBR, tailored to meet the requirements of the automatic exchange of tax-related information under international commitments.<\/p>\n
