According to the official notification, vehicles falling under PCT headings 8702 (buses), 8703 (cars), 8704 (trucks), and 8711 (motorcycles) can now be commercially imported, provided they are not more than five years old.<\/p>\n
This decision, effective immediately, will remain valid until June 30, 2026. After that date, the government may consider removing the age restriction altogether to further liberalize the auto sector.
