ASF Foils Major Drug Smuggling Attempt at Islamabad Airport ,1.7kg Crystal Ice Heroin and 216g Narcotic Pills Seized

ISLAMABAD: The Airports Security Force (ASF) has foiled another major attempt of drug smuggling at Islamabad International Airport, reaffirming its unmatched professionalism and vigilance in safeguarding Pakistan’s airports. According to ASF officials, vigilant personnel conducted a thorough search of a passenger’s luggage bound for Dubai and recovered 1.706 kilograms of crystal ice heroin and 216 grams of narcotic pills concealed ingeniously inside a dough kneading machine. The ASF spokesperson said the operation reflects the force’s exceptional investigative skills, alertness, and strategic precision that dealt a serious blow to international smuggling networks. The apprehended passenger, along with the recovered narcotics, has been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) for further legal proceeding
